There was a nice Lara Pulver article on today’s Independent website, including the following photo of Lara and her lovely cheekbones.
Where was I? Oh yes, here’s the link… www.independent.co.uk
So nice I even went out and bought a copy of the paper. 20p well spent!
I don’t know how I missed this news from January…
Lara Pulver, probably best known these days for playing a naked Irene Adler in the BBC’s Sherlock, has joined the cast of an Ian Fleming mini-series for Sky Atlantic playing the part of Mrs Fleming. Dominic Cooper plays Ian Fleming himself.
I’m a little bit confused as I knew that Duncan Jones (of Moon and Source Code) was directing an Ian Fleming movie, but I don’t know if that is the same project as this one.
In any case I’ve been a fan of Lara’s since her turn as Isabella in series three of the BBC’s Robin Hood and I’m a big James Bond fan so this will be essential viewing for me.
Oh wait, it’s on Sky Atlantic. Well, I’ll get the DVD then.
A number of news sources had this story but they all seemed to regurgitate the same PA source so I’ll just list one here.
And it was a nice excuse to include a photo of the lovely Ms Pulver.
I spotted Lara Pulver in the new issue of the Radio Times today and I thought the article was worth a quick scan.
Oddly enough they are still obsessed with the whole Sherlock nudity-gate thing.
I’ve liked Lara ever since seeing her as Isabella in the BBC’s Robin Hood back in 2009, almost three years before her revealing appearance in Sherlock in 2012. Just see my numerous posts on my old blog for proof: burstsofenthusiasm.blogspot.com
Does that make me a long time admirer? Probably.
So I don’t really need an excuse to include a photo of Ms Pulver here.
I found this one at pictures.metro.co.uk captioned “All New People Press Night”. At first I thought it was an event to show off some “New People”, perhaps replicants or clones or something. Disappointingly it seems its just a play.
Rather less disappointingly Lara looks lovely and her cheekbones are as wonderful as always.
